WAXING SERVICES

Wink Beauty Bar offers waxing services for both men and women. This service is only performed by a licensed aesthetician and with the use of high quality waxes, both hard and soft. All waxing services are provided in a private, comfortable and most importantly sanitary environment. Double dipping is never done! A new stick is used each time during any waxing service, which ensures a clean and sterile application every time. 

To prepare for your waxing service

• Everyones speed of growth is different, but at least two weeks of growth or at least about a quarter inch of hair is required for waxing.

• Avoid caffeine use prior to your appointment.

• RELAX. The more relaxed you are, the less painful your experience will be. Easier said than done, right? Luckily, the more you wax the less pain you'll experience at each service. It does get easier and it is definitely worth it.

• Avoid tanning for at least 48 hours before your waxing service. Wink Beauty Bar will not wax anyone with sunburned skin.

After your wax, 

• Keep the area clean and don't wear any clothing that may cause friction. Avoid working out and any products containing fragrance which may irritate the skin.

• Avoid tanning 24-48 hours after any waxing service.

• Products for ingrown hairs are offered at Wink Beauty Bar. If you have issues with ingrown hairs this would be a good option for you.
